Through our partnership with Groundwire, HopeNet 360 is able to provide a crisis chatline as a resource to Northeast Wisconsin to young people looking for hope and answers to life’s most difficult questions. Through a state-of-the-art chat software, Groundwire provides a safe, secure and simple way for ordinary people to make positive impacts on lives. Coaches are not required to be licensed counselors as this is not a counseling chatline. However, all coaches are approved through Groundwire and undergo a complete application process, including a background check.

The most important question we ask ourselves is “How do we make this part of the online community a safe place for both the Coach and the person on the other end of the chat?” The good news is that Groundwire’s system takes this into consideration heavily. So not only is this a safe place for people to come and share openly about things they’re going through personally, but it’s also good to know that as a Coach, you’re not alone or “in over your head”.
